DESCRIPTION

I took this photo at sunset in August 2025 as seen in my Canadian Rockies film. I hiked up to the Nublet after dinner to catch the sunset over Mount Assiniboine and it's surrounding lakes. I watched the light rays dance around the drifting clouds and light up Sunburst peak in the center of the scene before the sun dipped over a distant ridge. I hiked back to camp in the fading light with the mournful sound of loon calls in the distance. It was one of the most beautiful evenings I have experienced.

ABOUT THE PRINT

All prints in my store are produced by The Print Space, using my original images. The Epson Semi-Gloss Giclee paper was selected for its distinct photographic paper qualities. The flat surface and robust feel of this paper hold color saturation and high-contrast images well. As its name suggests, the surface of this fine art paper is semi-gloss with a resin coating which combined make this our strongest yet lightest paper in the Giclee range. A small, discreet signature is in the bottom left corner.
